Organize Coffee Mugs

Datetime:2014-05-30 Hits:

When you frequently drink coffee or tea, you may find yourself hastily reaching for a coffee mug from your cupboard. Organizing your coffee mug collection will ensure that you're able to find the mug you need when you need it. This will save you from spending valuable time in the morning sorting through your cupboards.

Instructions
1
Place the largest, less frequently used coffee mugs near the back of your cupboard. Placing the smaller mugs near the front will allow you to see the larger mugs near the back of the cupboard without having to move the mugs around needlessly in order to view them.

2
Consider using a mug rack to hang those mugs that you use daily. This will allow you to grab a favorite mug as soon as you wake in the morning. It will also allow you to hang the mug to dry after washing.

3
Group similar mugs together. Most dishware sets come with four to eight matching mugs. Place matching mugs together while keeping those that aren't matching, but similar in nature or size, together as well.

4
Store all your mugs, save for those you may hang on a rack, in the same cupboard. Storing all your mugs in the same cabinet will keep you from rummaging through multiple cabinets when searching for the mug you need. It will also make it easier to place your mugs in the cabinet after washing.

5
Store collectible mugs or those mugs you rarely use away for safekeeping. Wrap each mug in bubble wrap or other cushioned packing material to ensure that the mugs are not broken, scratched or harmed while they are in storage.

6
Consider getting a "Lazy Susan" if you find yourself using different mugs frequently. This will allow you to turn the rotating utility and easily reach the mug you want without rummaging through shelves of mugs.
