Installation
Clean the area around the sink drain with a rag to remove any dirt or debris. You want a smooth surface when installing the sink mesh strainer to ensure a leak-free seal. Place the sink strainer mesh into the sink drain, pressing down slightly to seat the putty around the hole.
Cleaning
Take out the mesh strainer and hold it over a trash bin. Knock it sharply against the interior of the bin to remove larger particles of food remaining in the mesh strainer. Brush the mesh strainer from the exterior side of the mesh. Pouring it under warm water.
