How to choose the best suitable cooling rack

Datetime:2016-12-01 Hits:

Wire cooling racks are an important addition to the baker's essential cooking equipment. Without these, you will experience soggier, moister baked items if these are allowed to cool in their pans or on solid surfaces that don't allow for air circulation. The purpose of a wire cooling rack is to allow the air to circulate freely around the cooling baked item, letting it cool down evenly and quickly.

You use it to cool cookies and chill chocolate-dipped confections and you could get cooling rack from WUZHOU KINGDA, but if you're not using your cooling rack to cook, you're not letting it live up to its full potential. When you cook meat or vegetables on a cooling rack, it effectively functions as an over-sized roasting rack, allowing the hot air to circulate evenly around the food.

Size does matter, to an extent, when it comes to cooling racks. Cookies, cupcakes, muffins and other smallish baked goods don’t need a rack of a particular size to cool because they are small and can be placed close together on a rack, although you might need an extra one or two if you routinely bake large batches and have dozens of cookies cooling at once. Once you get into cakes, you’re going to want a cooling rack that is large enough to comfortably hold an entire cake. 10-inches seems to be the largest standard pan size (for bound cakes and round cakes), so a rack that is at least 10-inches across should serve just about all of your needs.
