How to Use an Infusing Ball to Brew Tea
Tea made with loose tea leaves is the best way to taste the full range of flavors and freshness in your cup of tea. Using an infusing ball is a no-fuss way to get great brewed tea.
Instructions
1 The best tea you ever tasted starts with clean, cold water. Fill your kettle with cold water, either from the tap or from a filtered water source. Bring the water to a boil.
2 While the kettle is heating the water, fill your infusing ball with fresh, loose tea. You don't need to pack the ball with tea leaves; for a single up of tea you can fill it halfway. Place the infuser in the cup.
3 Allow the kettle to come to a complete, roiling boil. Being careful not to burn yourself on the water or steam from the water, pour it into your tea cup, over the infuser.
4 Steep the tea. Leave the infuser in for at least 3 minutes to allow the tea to develop flavor. If you like a strong cup of tea, leave the infuser in for 5 minutes. Remove it when you are ready to drink.
