How to Remove the Scratches from a Stainless Steel Grill
Stainless steel has become a common material for grills because of its look and it is easy to clean. It's also rust and corrosion resistant and, while not indestructible, it stands up to rain, dirt and grease. To keep your Stainless Steel Grill looking new, try products specifically designed for stainless steel appliances. Never use steel wool or abrasive cleaners on your Stainless Steel Grill and cover it when not in use.
Instructions
1
Examine the Stainless Steel Grill to determine the direction of the grain. Look for fine lines running either horizontally or vertically through the stainless steel. Always apply cleaners in the same direction as the lines (the grain).
2
Apply a dime-size amount of lubricant to a finishing pad. Gently rub the pad over the scratch following the grain.
3
Wipe the lubricant off with a clean cloth and rub the stainless steel to polish it.
