Spring and summer are the ideal times to enjoy the outdoors with nightly barbecues. Gleaming stainless steel barbecues can hold up to a lot of use but still need occasional deep cleaning to maintain their shine. Simple household cleaners are gentle yet effective on stainless steel for removing stains, food and burned on grease. Best of all, they are cost effective and do not take much time, so you will be back to barbecuing and eating in no time.
Instructions
1 Turn off the barbecue and allow it to cool if it was in use.
2 Wet a sponge, brush or cleaning cloth with hot water and wipe down the surface of the barbecue.
3 Sprinkle baking soda generously onto the surface of the stainless steel and scrub with the sponge, brush or cloth.
