Main Filter Media of pleated filter elements are stainless steel sintered web and stainless weaving wire mesh.

Square mesh, plain weave
Each warp wire(length) and each waft wire (width) pass over one and under the ext adjacent wire
Square mehs, twilled weave
Each wire passes successively over and under the next adjacent pair of wires.
Plain Dutch Weave
Warp wires are generally larger than waft wires. Waft wires are closely spaced to provide a dense weave.
Reverse Plain Dutch Weave
Waft wires are larger than warp wires, Warp wires are closely spaced to provide wedge shaped opennings.
