Clean Greasy Dust From Metal Kitchen Shelf

Datetime:2014-04-01 Hits:

Fine particles of grease often collect on kitchen shelves. Over time, this greasy residue builds up and collects dust, becoming an unsightly, unsanitary mess. Cleaning greasy residue from shelves is quick and easy if you use the correct cleaning products.

Instructions
1
Dampen a paper towel and add a drop of grease-cutting liquid dish detergent that contains orange oil. Rub the paper towel over the greasy, dusty shelf to remove the top layer of grease and dust. Repeat the process until most of the greasy dust is gone.

2
Wet a sponge in hot water and add several drops of dish detergent. Rub the sponge over the shelf, saturating the remaining dust and grease.

3
Rinse the sponge and wipe up any remaining greasy residue. Rinse and repeat, if necessary. When the grease is gone, wet a new sponge in warm water and rinse the shelf once more.

4
Dry the shelf with a towel to prevent mildew or rust.
