Wire Baskets for Industrial Use Made from Top-Quality Materials
All our industrial steel baskets are made from durable materials that can handle the rigors of the most challenging work environments. A carbon steel mesh basket is the most inexpensive option, but is still plenty strong. Carbon steel is a good choice for applications such as manual solvent cleaning, oil dipping and indoor material handling. Carbon steel generally should not be your choice for outdoor applications or caustic work environments where corrosion is an issue.
We also offer two types of stainless steel mesh wire baskets that provide greater corrosion protection. Our 304 stainless steel mesh baskets are designed for wet or mildly caustic environments, while our 316 stainless steel screen baskets contain a higher nickel content for superior corrosion protection in harsh work environments. 304 and 316 stainless wire baskets are both slightly stronger than their carbon steel counterparts.
More about Our Mesh Wire Basket Construction Process
Our steel mesh baskets are constructed using state-of-the-art computer-operated bending machines, which are used to form the sturdy round rod frames. The frames contain parts that are TIG welded together, and the mesh lining is resistance welded into the frame for greater stability. The completed carbon or stainless mesh basket is shipped in the base material's natural condition, which is referred to as "Natural Finish."
